JPAK (Journal of Catholic Religious Education) was originally founded to provide a forum for lecturers, researchers, and academic communities in the world of Catholic religious education to present their thoughts and research results. JPAK (Journal of Catholic Religious Education) was founded by STKIP Widya Yuwana Madiun. The managers of JPAK (Journal of Catholic Religious Education) are lecturers who are appointed based on the decision of the Chairperson of STKIP Widya Yuwana.

The writers of JPAK (Journal of Catholic Religious Education) originally came from internal circles, but over time many external writers (teachers, academics, pastors, priests , researchers from other institutions / colleges) participated in presenting his work in this journal. Initial writings generally revolve around the problems of the church (liturgy, eucharist, spirituality, etc.), but JPAK (Journal of Catholic Religious Education) is now increasingly challenged to develop a general theme of his research to better answer the needs of the times and the community, without abandoning his expertise in the field Catholic religion. The general theme of JPAK (Journal of Catholic Religious Education) now even touches on the issue of "education and multculturalism."

JPAK (Journal of Catholic Religious Education) has long received the ISSN and published research works in print. Now JPAK (Journal of Catholic Religious Education) also has e-ISSN and displays it in electronic form. Improvements and self-evaluation continue to be done so that JPAK (Journal of Catholic Religious Education) can still be a place for researchers to display their work in the field of Catholic religious education. JPAK (Journal of Catholic Religious Education) now also has an Open Journal System (OJS), so that all works can be submitted online, examined by credible reviewers from various universities in collaboration with JPAK, and also published online.

Various writings and research results published in JPAK (Journal of Catholic Religious Education) so far are often used by stakeholders, especially the Church, Diocese, and schools to take certain policies related to certain fields as well. This makes the manager of JPAK (Catholic Religious Education Journal) must always maintain the quality of the writings received and those that will be published.

 

JPAK (Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Katolik) awalnya didirikan untuk memberikan wadah kepada para dosen, peneiti, dan masyarakat akademik di dunia pendidikan agama katolik menampilkan pemikiran dan hasil penelitiannya. JPAK (Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Katolik) didirikan oleh STKIP Widya Yuwana Madiun. Pengelola JPAK (Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Katolik) adalah para dosen yang ditunjuk berdasarkan keputusan Ketua STKIP Widya Yuwana.

Para penulis JPAK (Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Katolik) awalnya berasal dari kalangan internal, tetapi seiring berjalanya waktu banyak penulis eksternal (para guru, akademisi, pastor, rohaniwan/rohaniwati, peneliti dari instansi/peguruan tinggi lain) ikut menampilkan karyanya di jurnal ini. Tulisan-tulisan awal umumnya berkutat mengenai seputar masalah gereja (liturgi, ekaristi, spiritualitas, dll), akan tetapi JPAK (Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Katolik) kini makin tertantang untuk mengembangkan tema umum penelitiannya untuk lebih menjawabi kebutuhan zaman dan masyarkat, tanpa meninggalkan kekahasannya di bidang keagamaan Katolik. Tema umum JPAK (Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Katolik) sekarang bahkan menyentuh soal “pendidika dan multkulturalisme.”

JPAK (Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Katolik) sudah sejak lama mendapat ISSN dan menerbitkan karya-karya peneitian dalam versi cetak. Kini JPAK (Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Katolik) juga sudah mempunyai e-ISSN dan menampilkannya dalam bentuk elektronik. Perbaikan dan evaluasi diri terus dilakukan supaya JPAK (Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Katolik) tetap bisa menjadi wadah bagi para peneliti untuk menapilkan karyanya dalam bidang pendidikan keagamaan katolik. JPAK (Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Katolik) kini juga sudah mempunyai Open Journal System (OJS), sehingga semua karya bisa dimasukkan secara online, diperiksa oleh para reviewer kredibel yang berasal dari berbagai Perguruan Tinggi yang berkerjasama dengan JPAK, dan dipublikasikan pula secara online.

Berbagai tulisan dan hasil penelitian yang dimuat dalam JPAK (Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Katolik) sejauh ini kerap digunakan oleh para stakeholder, terutama Gereja, Keuskupan, dan sekolah untuk mengambil kebijakan tertentu yang berkaitan dengan bidang tertentu pula. Hal ini membuat pengelola JPAK (Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Katolik) harus selalu menjaga kualitas tulisan yang diterima dan yang akan dipublikasikan.
